Like Mother, Like Daughter

July 8, 2011

Arrrrr! Hands off me chips, me matey.

After posting my last story, I decided I should have been more up front about the fact that I am already practicing the lessons in resourcefulness that my mother passed on to me.  I didn’t even know there was such thing as chip clips until I got to college.  Before then, I believed everyone sealed their food bags with wooden clothespins.  During these tough economic times, perhaps we could all learn a thing or two from an eye patch chip clip.

I thought everyone did use clothespins to hold their bags shut? Don’t worry, I am with you on the chip clip thing. I didn’t learn until high school the kids used things beside rubber bands from around the newspaper as pony tail holders.

Comment. All the cool kids do.
