Dallas Returns, As Do My Flashbacks
I’m going to write a couple of words here below for you, and then I’m going to pause for the collective groan that follows that none of you admit to doing when you read these words but I know you’re doing when you read these words because I watched a lot of Dionne Warwick’s Psychic Friends Network while growing up.
Please? Please come read my guest post? It’s my very first guest post ever.
I’m usually not high on guest posts (i.e. that groan thing you just did). I know you hate making two stops instead of one. I know it’s not time-efficient. I know it’s out of your way.
But Amber from Words Become Superfluous (great blog name, right?) enticed me with her current posts’ theme. Get this — her parents are finally kicking her old crap to the curb. Isn’t that great? And the past several days she’s been counting down the embarrassing dirty little secrets she finds in her old closet.
And we all know there are plenty of dirty little secrets in the closets at Southfork Ranch.
So read my post on Dallas and then stick around to read some of Amber’s posts — I like her writing voice, and I think you will too. And you need to be reminded of Squirrel Nut Zippers. You just do. I won’t give it away.
This is not a cancellation of your regularly scheduled programming — this is like a special sitcom spin-off night. (I mean that in the nicest way possible, Amber. I mean that like when Happy Days met Laverne and Shirley and not like when Growing Pains met Just The Ten Of Us.)
